Four Ways To Promote Church Unity
Biblical Truth: Christians are to promote the unity of their churches and avoid actions that contribute to divisions.
Focus on Members Agreement - 1 Cor. 1:10
When believers focus on their mutual understanding and conviction, the Lord is glorified and His gospel is magnified.
Focus on the Gospel's Truth - 1 Cor. 1:21-25
When we keep our focus on the truth of the gospel, we promote unity in our churches.
Focus on God's Work - 1 Cor. 1:26-31
When members in a church focus on God's work instead of their personal agendas, unity thrives.
Focus on the Church's Best - 1 Cor. 3:9-10, 16-17
When member's who arrogance, jealousy and factionalism threaten to harm, the church will face God's retribution.
God is glorified when you focus on His truth and His saving work in harmony with others in His church.
