Howard had his heart cath procedure today and the diagnosis is "restrictive cardiomyopathy" - this is treated with medicine and NOT surgery!! There is high pressure in the left ventricle which is putting pressure on the pulmonary arteries (pulmonary hypertension), which then puts pressure on the right side of the heart, which is putting the fluid in his belly. There was some artery blockage but not in any of the main arteries. If all goes well tonight, we should be home this weekend! God is Good!
