Sunday, September 4

THANK YOU PAUL FOR STARTING OUR STUDY OF ROMANS WITH SUCH INSIGHT.

TODAY'S LESSON: GOOD NEWS TO TELL - Romans 1:1-17
Biblical Truth: Christians have reasons and opportunities to tell others about the gospel.
Why We Tell - Romans 1:1-7
By faith in Jesus Christ, anyone - Jew or Gentile - can experience God's salvation this very day.
Whom We Tell - Romans 1:8-15
As believers, we tell others about the gospel because of who Jesus is and what God has done through Him in our lives. As believers thankful for our salvation, we tell the gospel to people who have yet to accept it.
What We Tell - Romans 1:16-17
As believers, we tell the gospel of salvation that is available only by faith.

PRAYER REQUEST - James 5:13-16
Bill Sturdevant - in hospital with an infection after surgery. Hope to be released soon.

Janice Burnett - sister of Sue Wilson, has another chemo treatment on Wednesday. Continue praying for successful chemo treatments, no nausea, weight gain, and good blood levels. Also, remember Sue as she continues to be Janice's caretaker.

Glenda Plemons - Glenda and Gary visited our department last Sunday and are friends of the Shiroma's - is on the list for a liver transplant. Pray that she doesn't have to wait very long for a liver.

Tom Isaacs, step-brother of Maggie Shiroma, was diagnosed with stag 4 lung cancer in July and given six months. Now, it looks like he only has weeks of not days. He chose to contact hospice, instead of going through treatment back in July. Please put him and the family in your prayers.
