Update Prayer Request - Jan. 25th

Sharol Batson - Sharol reports that she met with the surgeon. He doesn't think she will need radiation, but chemo might be warranted. He will determine all that after the surgery. It's small now (about an inch) and slow growing, but this cancer is right near the fissure between the two lobes, and there's a possibility that he would have to take the whole lung. He will have to make that decision during the surgery. He hope it will be early Tuesday morning, January 31st, probably in the Heat Hospital of Stan Francis. Sharol will know for sure after the pre-op on Monday. Sharol said she has such a loving family and wonderful support group.


Danny Hillenburg - Elaine reports that Danny was not able to have his procedure on Monday. They had checked his potassium level during pre-op last week...it was too low...so they postponed surgery. He is now taking potassium pills and eating bananas and will have it rechecked the end of this week. If it is up, they will reschedule. Thanks for the prayers!
