PRAYER REQUESTS
Lea Weaver - Lea had surgery last Thursday for a detached retina (macular hole) and everything went well. Lea is home recovering and will need to remain face down for 7-10 days. Pray for full and speedy recovery.

Sharol Batson - Sharol and Jim were in class today. Jim thanked everyone for the blessings of cards, calls, visits, food, and prayers that Sharol received while in the hospital and recoverying at home.

Sandy Wyse - Sandy has surgery scheduled for this Wednesday, 22nd. Continue with prayers for successful and full recovery.

Terry Livingston - Terry's mother, Carol, passed away in Arizona following her battle with lung cancer. Terry reported that his "mother went peacefully to be with our Lord, no more pain, no more suffering. Truly a time of praise."

Shirley Conley - Shirley is recuptering slower than she would like from her recent knee replacement surgery and ask for our continued prayers for her recovery.

Ruth Webb - doing well from her recent surgery.

Paul Teel - Paul's mother, Eleanor Teel, is recovering from some pretty delicate neuro surgery to address spinal cord compresion in the neck. Pray for comfort from pain, energy for the recovery phase.

Terry Williams - Terry is scheduled for surgery March 2nd to treat his recent heart arrhythmia.


ANNOUNCEMENTS
Caring Center - bring jars of peanut butter the month of February. Also, new Caring Center recycle containers have been placed just outside the north entrance to the Detroit Tower in the circle drive. You can now pull up and drop off your donations of clothing there.

Preschool Volunteers Needed - Susan Jacobs shared the need for volunteers in our Preschool Department. If you would like to help on any Sunday morning, contact Sabrina Thomson.

The Meyers "Canyon Crossing" - Thank you to Jim and Sandy Meyers for the use of their facility for our Valentine Party Friday night, 17th. We had a great time and appreciate their generosity. Thank you!

Special Thanks - Thank you to Mary Watson, coordinator, and her team: Ginger Robbins, Jackie Hall, Janice Turner, Steve Childers and Don Watson for making our Valentine Party another fun event. Approximately 70 class members came out to The Meyers "Canyon Crossing" for a great time of food and fellowship. Thanks also to Brad and Mary Kay Henderson for providing the great entertainment.
