Prayer Request Update - Wed. Nov. 18

REQUEST FROM GEORGE PADEN -
"A young adult couple from Sand Springs, Craig and Betsy (Foshee) Cooper, attended ‘First Glance’ classes a few months ago and later they joined FBC--Tulsa. They were married in October and he is a pharmacist in a Wal Mart, I believe, in Cleveland, OK. He had brain tumor surgery a few years ago, they got good results, and just before they married his 6 month check-up at M.D. Anderson in Houston did not come back 100% OK….so
Craig and his mother are now back in Houston (Betsy has to stay here during the week due to a new job she has started) and have been for about a week. He is undergoing 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments and the docs are saying this will get the small tumors that have returned and there should be no additional major concerns looming out there for him in the future. He really is a super young man and he and Betsy have hung tough together for a long time knowing more of what could be than they really can understand. They went on with their marriage and have great faith that God has a good plan for them to prosper and that nothing evil/final will result from his serious condition. He lost a year of schooling before his surgery but came back with gusto, 100% restored and they have every hope that this will be his lot soon. However, in the meantime his days are long and full of concerns and I hope we can be their support and see them through and that complete healing will be his soon. Please keep Craig, Betsy, and their families on our PRAYER LIST for the next few weeks, if possible. I know they all will deeply appreciate the prayer support from our class’s prayer warriors. Thanks so much !!"
