Jan Johnson – dad, Robert Essner, is in the hospital. His legs are not working and he cannot walk. Pray for healing and also future decisions.
Judy Wilson – friend, Mary Matthews, passed away late last Friday afternoon after a courageous battle with lymphoma and vascular dementia. Would appreciate continued prayers for Mary’s husband, Jack, and their daughters, Marcia and Melissa, during this time of transition.
Bryan Elmore – at urgent care with sore throat and ask for prayers for speedy recovery.
Winnie Fuller – Sherry Yeldell, sister, pray for Sherry as she undergoes tests at St. Francis Monday, November 16, to check blockage in heart.
Howard Cunningham - friend, Ron Caldwell had successful surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and they did not have to remove kidney. Ron was taken back to the hospital after he flew in from Cleveland because of chest pains. After testing they discovered he had several blood clots in his lungs. They are going to put in an umbrella into the main artery going into the lungs to catch the blood clots and have started him on blood thinner. Ron is now stable and continues to heal from his surgery. He must fly back to Cleveland Clinic in five weeks to see the surgeon. Please continue to pray for him. The family is very grateful for the prayer pager and all of the prayers.

Owasso Baptist Homes for Children –Help with School Work Needed – The boys need help with their school work. If you can help out, contact Janice Turner at 943-6686 or 510-3750. Help is especially needed on Mondays, but they welcome help anytime. The boys study hour is from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

CHRISTMAS ANGEL TREE – next Sunday our Christmas Angel Tree will be up and you can pick your angel from the tree.
The Springs! Wes Conley asks for back up help for the technical services on Sunday mornings. Wes said their need is for three volunteers to serve as back up to the Springs Technical team. They would request that the volunteers train with the team for two Sundays and then be on standby should they need help when one of the first team members should be out. There is nothing really technical to learn and any in our group could learn quickly. There is mostly moving, setting up, running cables, and some lifting--but not much. Contact Wes to volunteer at 671-7734.

CARING CENTER WORK DAY – Nov. 14th – THANK YOU! Thanks to Joe & Nancy Langley; David & Marilyn Sullivan; Mark & Louise Owen; Ray & Lea Weaver; Susan Dalton; Linda Ree; Louis Richardson; Norma Dowell; Sharon Martin; Linda Smith; Joyce Wilkin; Bill & Mavis Jackson; Loretta Shideler; Shirley Ritchey; Melba Crawley; Sonnie Hall; Duane & Linda Dunham; and Nancy Remus for working at the Caring Center. We accomplished a great deal of work.
CARING CENTER NEEDS – next Sunday bring tooth paste, cans of green beans and corn! Our class voted to adopt a family from the Caring Center to provide their Christmas. Duane Dunham has agreed to coordinate this project…more details later.
DINNER ON THE GROUNDS – Sunday, Nov. 29th – immediately following the 11:00 am worship service, we will meet in the Fellowship Hall for lunch and fellowship. More details and sign up sheets next Sunday!
