Prayer Request Update - Thursday, May 20

Erin Gallagher - "Erin's surgery on Monday was successful and she is home resting. The surgery was more than we expected, since the tumor came to weigh 19 pounds! It was a very large mass pressing under her rib cage and close to her heart. She was in no pain and she came through it all with great success. With all the prayers she has received and still receiving, the Lord has blessed us with many friends as you, Adult V. We miss you all and thanks so much for all your prayers. The prayers have helped us get through this, and Erin will be at home recovering with us. Thank you again for all your prayers. We hope to see you all soon, Love, Mark and Debbie Gallagher."

Laura Elmore - "our daughter-in-law's father, Jack, was just diagnosed with MDS, myelodysplastic syndrome, which is due to Agent Orange from his service in the Vietnam War. Basically, this a blood disorder that interrupts production of red blood cells and can lead to leukemia. He will begin receiving infections immediately and most likely start transfusions. We would appreciate prayer for the treatments to work and slow the progression. Thanks, Laura and Brian Elmore."
