Thank you Terry for today's lesson...LESSON: Corruption: A Path to Nowhere - Micah 3:1-12
Biblical Truth: God expects His people to fulfill their God-given responsibilities in ways that please Him.
Act On What You Know - Micah 3:1-2
Wherever our places of responsibility and leadership in life, the Lord expects us to always do what is right and good. We please Him when we consistently act according to the ethical standards He has revealed in His Word.
Avoid Materialism's Lure - Micah 3:5-7
We please God when we are more interested in fulfilling our spiritual responsibilities faithfully and honestly than when our main interest is using religion for material gain.
Affirm Accountability - Micah 3:9-12
By affirming wholeheartedly our accountability to God, we show our primary interest is to please the Lord by fulfilling the spiritual responsibilities He gives us.

The men enjoyed a great weekend trout fishing for their Spring Outing...

Tom Willey shows us one of his big fish!
Tom said to make plans to join them for the Fall Outing.
(Maybe they will share their fish with the class with a fish fry!)

Happy Birthday to...
Jill Willey, Mary Watson & Ron Ryel

PRAYER REQUESTS - James 5:13-16

Kirk Larkin - for friend, Dr. Floyd Ray, who has started cancer treatment. Pray for comfort, peace, no side effect from treatments and energy will remain at a high level.

Linda Dunham - Duane had gall bladder surgery Monday and all went very well. Continue to pray for quick and complete healing.

Mike & JoAnn Trippett - Mike & JoAnn thanks our department for the many prayers, cards and calls during the difficult days. Please continue to remember them and son, Daniel, as they mourn Daniel's fiance's death. Daniel will be home for another week before having to return to Korea.

Bruce & Karen Betts - Bruce's younger brother, Dan, passed away early Friday morning. Please keep Dan's wife and daughter in your prayers, as well as Bruce, Karen and extra prayers for Bruce's 100-year old father.

Gene & Sue Tyree - Gene's twin sister, Ginger Chappell, surgery on Friday well very well and was able to remove all the cancer. She now faces 30 radiation treatments and a chemo pill. Pray for continued strength and mercy.

Sue Wetmore - Vic's dad remains very tired, still no word on what is causing him to feel badly. Sue's father left rehab last Friday and is staying with Sue's brother, and her cousin, Amber, is back to work and out looking for new home to buy. Sue has her test results back and is told she has Celiac Sprue disease. There is no cure, but Sue will be on a gluten-free diet for the rest of her life. Sue reports "we are filled with joy and praise for the goodness that God has given us. I have a whole new life where food is concerned. Thank you for letting me update my list of prayer requests. Wishing you God's blessings, Sue."

Continue to pray for all the men and women serving in the armed forces and those in law enforcement. Our nation.
