LESSON: Receiving The Gospel - Galatians 2:11-3:25
Biblical Truth: A Person can become a Christian only through faith in Jesus.
Believe - Galatians 2:15-16
People become Christians when they hear the gospel and by faith receive Jesus as their Savior.
Behave - Galatians 2:17-21
Salvation is by God's grace, and a radically transformed life is the continuing work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.
Be Consistent - Galatians 3:1-5
The Holy Spirit seeks to lead us through Christian growth of consistency in our beliefs and actions.
Be Blessed - Galatians 3:6-9
Blessings include being made right with God, being adopted into God's family, being blessed by God as heirs to all of God's promises to His people, being used by God in His redemptive purposes, and being guaranteed everlasting life.
PRAYER REQUESTS - James 5:13-16
Wes Conley - Wes' cousin's daughter, McKaylyn Pennington, has a serious hand infection that the doctors have no idea what the cause is. This family is on the Missions field in Thailand and were ready to return home for a visit when their daughter's hand became dangerously infected. McKaylyn and the family need our prayers.
Wayne Allen - PRAISE - Wayne's knee surgery went very well, and he is recuperating at home hoping to be back in the "swing of things" by month's end. Thank you for all your prayers.
Winnie Fuller - Winnie's cousin, Lee Fuller, diagnosed with growth on top, right side of his brain. Scheduled surgery for June 23rd. Pray for successful surgery and complete quick recovery.
Sharon Martin - Joyce Wilkin has been having leg problems for several weeks. Also, pray for Sue and Don Kimberling--pray for Sue as she deals with depression.
Susan Patterson - Ruth Greer, Lin's aunt, is in tremendous pain from severe osteoporosis. Family of Richard Henderson, especially Janea, the daughter, who is on Air High Academy gymnastics team. Pray that Jennifer, Susan & Lin's daughter, can minister to Janea and the Henderson family.
Jerry Isaacs - Jerry's sister-in-law, Donna Isaacs, is recovering from brain surgery to remove clot. Donna is 79-years old and will be in the hospital in Indianapolis for 2-weeks. Pray for restoration to a quality of life.
Daisy Williams - Pray for step-niece, Monique Woodrow, age 27. Monique has been diagnosed with "massive cancer." Please pray through God's healing hand that the doctors will not find the cancer and for peace, comfort and wisdom.
Continue to pray for all the men & women serving in the armed forces and law enforcement and our nation.

Owasso Baptist Homes for Children, Saturday, August 1st
It is time again for our Back to School Drive to raise money so we can provide a back to school outfit and a church outfit for the kids. Our department has a goal of outfitting each boy in the White City cottage at a cost of $200 per child.
Saturday, August 1st, will be the event at the Renaissance Hotel where we can see the boys show off the clothes which they picked out. There will be a guest speaker, and you will not want to miss this special time for the kids. The program starts at 10:30 am and lunch is provided. We have a limited number of tickets available for our church. Cost is $16 per person. See Janice Turner or Gail Crist for tickets or more information.
Donations will be taken up through the month of July for the clothing. All donations are tax deductible and check may be made payable to OBHC.
Work days scheduled at the Home are August 8th and 22nd.
