LESSON: "LET'S BE FAIR ABOUT IT" - James 2:1-13
Biblical Truth: Without showing favoritism to anyone, Christians are to love everyone.
Favoritism is Judgmental - Ignore Externals - James 2:1-4
Favoritism is judging people by non-Christian standards.
Favoritism is Unreasonable - Honor God's People - James 2:5-7
Often we show favoritism to people who fail to show reasonable respect to us.
Favoritism is Sinful - Extend Love - James 2:8-13 James taught that practicing favoritism makes a person a transgressor of the law.
